The weather is fine this Sunday morning in Sarno for the Mini Prefinals of the WSK Super Master Series Round 4.
Prefinal A started perfectly with Iacopo Martinese (Parolin/Iame) in the lead followed by Dean Hoogendoorn (Alonso Kart/Iame) and Niklas Schaufler (EKS/TM). Hoogendoorn took the lead and Martinese was 3rd for a while. Filippo Sala (KR/Iame) then moved back into the top three and Davide Bottaro (Parolin/TM) moved up to 5th. Bottaro followed in 5th position, more than 5 tenths behind.
After an already turbulent first lap, Roman Kamyab (Parolin/Iame) remained in the lead of Prefinal B ahead of Christian Costoya (Parolin/TM), Cristian Blandino (EKS/LKE) and Kilian Josseron (KR/Iame). Dries van Langendonck (Birel ART/TM) started to move up into the top five. Blandino was briefly in 1st place at mid-race, but Kamyab regained the lead ahead of Jindrich Pesl (Parolin/Iame). Costoya took over the 2nd position, 2” behind the leader, followed by van Langendonck and Pesl. Kamyab took a clear victory ahead of Cosyoya and van Langendonck.
