The Kristianstad track was wet for a long time on Saturday for the Qualifying Heats of the third round of the Euro Series Champions of the Future, with grip changing from one race to the next.
This did not prevent poleman Dmitry Matveev (Tony Kart/Vortex) from keeping his composure to score three wins and two 2nd places. He held on to the lead against the fast René Lammers (Parolin/TM), twice winner in the heats. Twice winner Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) came back to 3rd place ahead of Anatholy Khavalkin (Parolin/TM) who moved up five places against Jan Przyrowski (Tony Kart/Vortex). Miguel Costa (KR/Iame) moved up nine places to 7th place, followed by Maxens Verbrugge (KR/Iame) who moved up five places. Guillaume Bouzar (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 16th, Jules Caranta (Energy/TM) moved up 12 places to 27th ahead of Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart/Vortex). Arthur Dorison (Tony Kart/Vortex) reached 38th position (+12 pl) while Andy Consani (Sodi/TM) was 44th.
