The Qualifying Heats of the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series were not as straightforward as one might expect. In addition to the rainy weather that affected the last three heats on Friday, it was easy to make mistakes on the Franciacorta track. The leader of the provisional ranking, Joe Turney, did not need to push his luck to take the lead of the heats after the retirement of Kean Nakamura-Berta (KR/Iame) in 6th position despite his three wins. Freddie Slater (LN/Vortex) proved to be a formidable opponent in 2nd ahead of Tukka Taponen (Tony Kart/Vortex) who moved up 11 places. Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex) was back in 4th to ensure a winning quartet for the OTK group. In 5th place, Maksim Orlov (Parolin/TM) showed good potential. Delayed on Saturday, Alex Powell (KR/Iame) was 8th. Evan Giltaire (KR/Iame) made a good comeback from 16th to 8th place ahead of Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy/TM), who had to retire, and the fast Caspian Hagman (Tony Kart/Vortex). Enzo Deligny (Parolin/TM) had two top three finishes and was back up to 11th place, while Arthur Rogeon (KR/Iame) was 15th, gaining 19 places.
