In Le Mans, the Junior Max final of the RMCIT saw Christopher Fegalhi (LN/Rotax) and Georgios Kafantaris (Exprit/Rotax) on the front row ahead of Leon Zelenko (Exprit/Rotax) and Colin Wazny (Kosmic/Rotax). Jules Avril (Tony Kart/Rotax) retired before the start of the race due to a mechanical problem. Kafantaris was leading from the outside line, but Feghali finished the first lap in front of Zelenko and Wazny. Zelenko passed Wazny and Feghali on the second lap, then Scott Marsh (LN/Rotax) who came back to 3rd on the following lap. An incident at the chicane triggered the slow procedure then the race was restarted on lap 7. Feghali quickly passed Zelenko, Austin Lee (Exprit/Rotax) moved up to 3rd ahead of Scott, Wazny and Kafantaris in 6th. Romeo Roussel (LN/Rotax) dropped 10 places. The top four were grouped together in 6 tenths. Zelenko took over the lead on lap 12 and took advantage of the fight behind him to extend his advantage to over 6 tenths. With several attacks, the chasing group rejoined the leading pack. Scott came back to the leader on the last lap. Zelenko was nevertheless 3 tenths ahead of Marsh. Feghali took 3rd place by 2”. Mikkel Pedersen (Sodi/Rotax) had gained 15 places to finish 4th, followed by Kasper Schormans (Exprit/Rotax) in 5th place with a gain of 11 positions. Tom Langlois (EOS/Rotax) was the top Frenchman in 16th place ahead of Roussel and Maxence Reitz (Tony Kart/Rotax).
