The changing weather did not make it easy for the drivers during the Mini Max Qualifying Heats of the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals. The choice between slicks and rain tyres was not always easy.
Christopher El Feghali (LBN) still managed to win all three races to keep his lead over the formidable Harry Bartle (GBR), while Jacob Ashcroft (GBR) moved back into the top three. Toms Strele (LVA) moved up seven places to 4th followed by Vasileios Malamis (GRC). Thomas Pradier (FRA) moved up eight places to 6th, Louis Baziret (FRA) made a superb 15-place climb to 10th, while Aloïs Girardet (FRA) finished 23rd. Luka Scelles (FRA) made stunning gains of 18 places to 18th position in each race, but an incident just before the finish of his second run delayed him. He nevertheless regained 25 positions in 47th place.
