The Le Mans track was quite wet at the start of the RMCIT DD2 Max Qualifying session, although the rain was gradually letting up. Dylan Léger (Sodi/Rotax) opened the session in the lead ahead of Italy’s Leonardo Baccaglini (KR/Rotax). Baccaglini improved in the lead, followed by Antoine Barbaroux (Sodi/Rotax). The track began to dry out and the times changed rapidly towards the end of the session. Dane Christian Sørensen (Birel ART/Rotax) took pole position on his fifth lap in 1’05”310 ahead of Italy’s Michael Rosina (Intrepid/Rotax). Following Rosina’s disqualification, Barbaroux regained 2nd place ahead of Hugo Croquison (Tony Kart/Rotax) and Austrian Leon Mandl (Birel ART/Rotax). Noa Hipp (Birel ART/Rotax) finished 11th.
