On Sunday morning, the youngest Mini Gr3 U10s opened the action at Franciacorta with the WSK Euro Series Prefinals in sunshine and at 23°C.
Prefinal A: Miron Lorente takes on Gorski
Daniel Miron Lorente (KR/Iame) led ahead of Oleksandr Legenkyi (KR/Iame) and Henri Kumpen (Parolin/Iame), while Ksawery Dudkowski (KR/Iame) had made up 18 places in one lap to 9th position. Jean Poujol (Parolin/Iame) didn’t complete a lap. The top two were 8 tenths ahead of Kumpen. Leonardo Gorski (Parolin/Iame) moved up to 3rd and Xavier Lazaro (DR/TM) was 5th ahead of Albert Tamm (Parolin/Iame). Gorski reduced the leaders’ lead. Legenkyi spun on the penultimate lap as he closed on the leader. Miron Lorente narrowly beat Gorski by 3 hundredths. Lazaro finished 3rd, Kumpen 4th and Mason Alejandro Robertson (KR/Iame) 5th.
Prefinal B: victory for Venant
Niccolo Perico (Energy/TM) held the lead at the start, with Antoine Venant (KR/Iame) immediately moving up to 2nd ahead of David Moscari (Birel ART/TM). Moscari regained the lead ahead of Venant and Perico, Edoardo Colucci (Parolin/Iame) was 4th and Sebastian Eskandari Marandi (Tony Kart/Vortex) 5th. Venant moved into the lead, with Gabriele Iacomelli (EKS/TM) 4th behind Eskandari and ahead of Perico. Lino Pedraza (KR/Iame) returned to the top 10. The top five pulled away ahead of the stretching pack. Venant took a clear lead 1.1″ ahead of Moscari, Eskandari was 3rd ahead of Iacomelli and Perico.
