The particularly high scores achieved by the Mini U10 drivers at Sarno reflected the difficulty of the WSK Euro Series Qualifying Heats. The weather had a hand in this, offering variable grip conditions. Impressive climbs and major crashes shaped the hierarchy on Saturday. The fact remains that Devin Walz (Parolin/Iame) took the lead with his 16 points, while Ilie Tristan Crisan (Tony Kart/Vortex) moved up 11 places to 2nd place ahead of poleman William Calleja (Parolin/Iame). Bogdan Cosma Cristofor (KR/Iame) moved up from 16th to 4th ahead of Sebastian Eskandari Marandi (Tony Kart/Vortex). Monegasque Andrea Manni (Parolin/Iame) put in a good performance in these difficult conditions, finishing 6th, while Alessandro Truchot (Parolin/Iame) climbed back up to 10th, gaining seven places, and Zack Zhu (EKS/TM) had a difficult day, finishing 29th.
