The second round of the WSK Euro Series resumed after a torrential downpour at lunchtime. The Mini U10 Final took place on a very wet track at Sarno after a single-file start under yellow flag conditions and two formation laps.
Antoine Venant (KR/Iame) dropped back to 3rd when the green flags released the competitors, Julian Frasnelli (Parolin/Iame) crashed out and championship leader Daniel Miron Lorente (KR/Iame) took the lead ahead of Oleksandr Legenkyi (KR/Iame). Jean Poujol (Parolin/Iame) got off to a good start and moved up two places to 14th. Miron Lorente kept up a fast pace against Legenkyi, with Xavier Lazaro (DR/TM) 3rd, Nicolo Perico (Energy/TM) 4th and Venant 5th. However, it was Legenkyi who won by 67 thousandths ahead of his team-mate Miron Lorente, who went on to take the championship. Lazaro, Perico and Achille Rea (Tony Kart/Vortex) completed the top five ahead of Venant. Poujol made up seven places by finishing 9th on his WSK debut.
