With its 54 drivers divided into two sessions, the Mini category made the most of the sunshine at Lonato for the WSK Final Cup time trials, with temperatures reaching 14°.
Session 1: Esteves – 52”598
Only two laps were covered by most of the drivers and the ranking was established at the very last moment in a certain chaos. Riven Esteves (KR/Iame) was finally the fastest with 52”598, more than a tenth ahead of Michele Orlando (DR/TM). Danil Kutskov (KR/Iame) finished 3rd, followed by Kacper Rajpold (Parolin/Iame) and Oleksandr Legenkyi (KR/Iame). Zack Zhu (Eks/TM) finished 11th and Alessandro Truchot (Parolin/Iame) 18th.
Session 2: Blandino – 52”617
The drivers started a little earlier than in Session 1. Cristian Blandino (CRG/TM) was fastest with 52”617 0.139” ahead of Gioele Girardello (Parolin/TM), then Leonardo Gorski (Tony Kart/Vortex). Oliver Sin (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 4th and Ludovico Mazzola (Tony Kart/Vortex) 5th.
