On Sunday afternoon, the weather was still sunny in Lonato with 14° air temperature at the time of the OK-Junior Final of the WSK Final Cup.
Sebastian Lehtimaki (Tony Kart/Vortex) retained P1 at the start against Iacopo Martinese (KR/Iame), Christian Costoya (Parolin/TM) and Filippo Sala (LN/TM), followed by Niklas Schaufler (KR/Iame) and Dries van Langendonck (Exprit/TM). Martinese took the lead on the third lap from Lehtimaki. Lewis Wherrell (Exprit/TM) had made up six places to reach 7th position. Lehtimaki was back in 1st place on lap 7, with Sala moving up to 4th place by overtaking Costoya. In 7th place, Rocco Coronel (KR/Iame) was the fastest driver on track. The gap between Lehtimaki and Schaufler remained at around 3 tenths, with the chasing pack led by Costoya more than 4.5″ behind. Sala made a mistake and found himself in 7th place. Lehtimaki won by just 26 thousandths from Schaufler. Costoya secured 3rd place well ahead of Martinese and Dries van Langendonck (Exprit/TM). Thomas Quincé (Tony Kart/Vortex) made up ten places to finish 19th.
