2nd in Qualifying, Sebastiano Pavan (Tony Kart/Vortex) took command of the OK category at the end of the Qualifying Heats of the WSK Super Master Series #3. Two wins and a 2nd place enabled him to take the lead, whereas poleman Davide Bottaro (CRG/Iame), also a two-time winner, had started by retiring in the first heat, which dropped him back to 7th place on Saturday evening… Thibaut Ramaekers (KR/Iame) and Roland Kuklane (Tony Kart/TM), both of whom had already won, were back in the top three, ahead of Dmitry Matveev (KR/Iame) in 5th place, then David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) and Lewis Wherrell (Exprit/TM), all of whom maintained the same positions as in Qualifying. Ean Eyckmans (Birel ART/TM) was 8th ahead of the astonishing Lewis Francis (KR/Iame), who moved up eight places, and Elia Papacena (Tony Kart/TM). Markas Silkunas (CRG/Iame) made good progress from 24th to 15th and Thomas Quincé (Tony Kart/Vortex) made a superb comeback, moving up 17 places to 17th.
