Daniel Vasile (Birel ART/TM) got off to a superb start ahead of Tom Leuillet (Tony Kart/Vortex), while Paolo De Conto (Parolin/TM) leapt into 3rd place ahead of Emilien Denner (Sodi/TM), Cristian Bertuca (Birel ART/TM), Viktor Gustafsson (CRG/TM) and Senna van Walstijn (Sodi/TM). Danilo Albanese (KR/Iame) started in 9th position after a complicated start to the race. Leuillet regained the lead on the third lap. Bertuca found a way past De Conto to take P3, with Denner 4th in his wake. De Conto clashed with Denner as he tried to pass him on the inside. Van Walstijn took over in 4th position ahead of Gustafsson and Albanese. Leuillet was leading Bertuca by 5 tenths at the halfway stage. Vasile 3rd held firm against van Walstijn’s comeback. Bertuca then closed the gap on leader Leuillet, while van Walstijn managed to overtake Vasile. Leuillet took his first win of the year for the Tony Kart Racing team, a fitting tribute to the recent death of Giovanni Corona, the founder of Vortex. The fastest driver on track, Van Walstijn overtook Bertuca on the final lap to take a fine 2nd place on his comeback. Bertuca and Vasile finished 3rd and 4th ahead of Gustafsson and Hiltbrand. Albanese finished 6th. Matthéo Spirgel (Sodi/TM) had withdrawn, Arthur Carbonnel (CRG/TM) was 16th (up 7 places), Jérémy Iglesias (CRG/TM) 19th (up 11 places). Téo Blin (Tony Kart/Vortex) finished 28th, Arthur Poulain (Sodi/TM) 29th (+7 places) with a spoiler penalty each.
